Sweet sherry and dark chocolate jumps onto the tongue with raisins and dried figs following as the glass warms. Cloves, ginger and pralines slide down with just a hint of fondant icing before finally smooth anise with vinous notes of cherry wine remains on the tongue until the next sip.
Nose
Toasted walnuts and raisins join with rich dark chocolate and pomegranate molasses, finishing with just a hint of allspice.
Appearance
Jet black with a brief brown head.
