Taste

Sherry and red fruits mingle with the spiciness of buckwheat before giving way to a touch of earthy bitterness and gently lingering peated malts. Hints of burnt toffee comes back with more iodine and sea salt, all finishing on a pleasant chocolate oak character mixed with charred oak.

Nose

Rich peat smoke and sea salt, creamy fudge, and the distinctive character of toasted rye and spicy buckwheat.

Appearance

Pitch black with a reddish tint and a brown-beige head.
