Smooth and sweet caramel malts blend with an elegant maple syrup and honeycomb coated dark chocolate. Blackberry jam and toasted bread join the syrupy, raisin like aftertaste, with a rich warming mouthfeel and just a hint of sweet lingering oak.
Nose
Rich maple syrup and treacle burst out of the glass with smooth toasted wholemeal bread topped with jam following. Sweet vanilla and hints of warming spices come through after, with a long lingering maple syrup aroma teasing you into the glass.
Appearance
Dark black with a dark brown head.
