Nova Lux
West Coast IPA
6.2% vol
Taste
Compared to the aroma, the flavor leans more towards bitter citrus - grapefruit and lime peel. The mid-palate introduces a resinous and herbal bitterness. In the aftertaste, this is balanced by a malty sweetness. A beer that bridges the gap between a classic bitter “old-school” IPA and a modern juicy one.
Nose
The initial aroma is tropically hoppy, featuring sweet citrus notes — orange and tangerine, as well as melon. A hint of pine resin lingers in the background.
Appearance
A slightly hazy pale yellow beer with a bright white head that holds very well.
