The first sip explodes with a delightful mix of toasted grains, caramelized sugars and bright red berries, reminiscent of a warm homemade cherry pie. Bit by bit the character of Madeira starts to unfold and flows over the palate with notes of sun-kissed grapes, dried figs and chocolate ganache, balanced by a peppery hop bitterness and exquisite oak tannins.
Nose
Rich and toasty, with a wave of dark chocolate and mocha notes interwoven with the warmth of toasted almonds.
Appearance
A mahogany brown beer with a dense beige head.
